The cantilever rack is designed for storing long, heavy, or irregularly shaped materials, such as steel pipes, tubes, and profiles, enabling efficient sorting and storage in workshops and warehouses.
The cantilever rack consists of uprights, cantilevers (single or double-sided), and reinforced tie rods. The cantilevers are connected to the uprights with plate pin bolts and are height-adjustable.
The core support components are welded square tubes or butt-welded C-shaped steel. Heavy-duty applications require dual uprights with 8.8-grade anchor bolts.
The base is anchored to the ground with expansion bolts. Horizontal and diagonal tie rods prevent tilting and deformation. When used with an overhead crane or forklift, the cantilever rack reduces manual handling and allows single-person operation for material storage, retrieval, and processing.
Advantages of Cantilever Rack
Features of Cantilever Rack:
Cargo Compatibility:
Single-arm capacity must exceed maximum load by 20% (e.g., 2-ton arms for 6m steel pipes)
Arm length should exceed cargo by 15-30cm (9m telescopic arms for 8m materials)
Scenario Adaptation:
Indoor: Modular systems (expandable columns + interchangeable arms)
Outdoor: Hot-dip galvanized steel + concrete foundations
Operational Efficiency:
High-frequency zones: Hydraulic-assist arms (reducing labor intensity 30%)
Critical Considerations:
Verify third-party load test reports (GB/T 28576-2012 compliance)
Chemical storage requires ISO 9227 corrosion certification (≥500hr salt-spray tests)
