Storage racks are very common in life. Many people think that storage racks are just ordinary storage racks for storing goods. In fact, the production process of storage racks is not so easy. Today, let’s learn about the welding sequence of storage racks:
1. In order to prevent welding deformation, each column joint is welded symmetrically by two people, and the welding direction is from the middle to both sides. When welding the inner mouth (the inner mouth is the groove close to the web), the first to third layers need to use small standard operations, because its welding is the main reason for the welding deformation of the rack.
2. After welding one to three layers, the back is cleaned. After using carbon arc air planer to clean the root, the weld must be mechanically polished to clean the carburized surface of the weld to expose the metallic luster and prevent the surface from being severely carbonized and causing cracks. The outer mouth welding should be completed at one time, and then the remaining part of the inner mouth is welded.
3. When welding the second layer, the welding direction should be opposite to the first layer, and so on. Each layer of welding joints should be staggered by 15-20mm.
4. The welding current, welding speed and number of welding layers of two welders should be consistent during welding.
5. During welding, welding should start from the arc starting plate and end at the arc ending plate. Cut it off and polish it after welding.
6. Post-weld heat treatment: The weld should be heat treated within 12 hours after welding. If heat treatment cannot be carried out in time, insulation and slow cooling measures should be taken.
During heat treatment, two thermocouples should be used for temperature measurement, and the thermocouples should be spot welded on the inside and outside of the weld.
